Thunder Enterprises is a developer of high-end homes and master-planned communities in Tennessee, Wyoming, Montana, North Carolina and Hawaii. These unique homestead opportunities blend exceptional living spaces with spectacular natural surroundings.
A premier-property real estate developer since 1991, Thunder Enterprises' endeavors first took place in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. There, John Thornton and his team of architects, contractors and real estate brokers successfully anticipated the market potential for $2 to 11 million homes and helped redefine the high-end spec home industry in the Jackson Hole area.
In 1997, Thunder Enterprises acquired Jackson Hole's Crescent H Ranch, an upscale, 1,300-acre property adjacent to the world-famous Snake River. Shortly thereafter, John Thornton donated 179 acres into a conservation easement valued at over $20 million. The remaining property was then developed into 35-acre parcels marketed as single-family home sites.
In recent times, Thunder Enterprises has entered into many other projects, including Thunder Pointe, a homesite development located in east Tennessee on Tellico Lake; Tennessee National, an 1,800-homesite development with a Greg Norman signature golf course on the Tennessee River; and many multimillion dollar spec home projects across the country.
